I am assuming that you have followed all the steps on or (the creator) you also need a to be on 3.60 firmware or less i believe. is the Pandora battery flat? it might just need charging. google "chick(hen) OFW 5.00 CFW" and you should have all the answers you need. and it needs to be a Fat 1000 or a slim 2000 series model, 3000 cannot be homebrewed (yet.) there is also an alternative homebrew method i found while waiting for my pandora to come in the mail: if you update to Official Firmware 5.00 you can use the "Chick(HEN)" method to firmware patch your PSP. Thanks in advanced. Is the Pandora battery flat? it might just need charging. I really appreciate any help that you guys could suggest. So my question is: will this present a problem? Is there any way for me to get around this and install the firmware update without buying a new battery, or will I have to bite the bullet and buy a new battery? The only way I can use my PSP is to have it plugged in with the AC adaptor whenever I use it. The problem is, I don't actually even have a battery for my PSP. The update will begin automatically when the charge level is high enough to perform the update."

Connect the AC adaptor and then wait for the battery to charge. I was successfully able to get the official firmware onto the memory stick, but I can't run it because the PSP gives an error message: I haven't touched this thing in years so I need to update it to the official 6.61 firmware before I can install custom firmware. Hey everyone, I'm brand new to PSP modding as I've recently decided I want to try my hand at modding my old PSP 1000 fat.
